Abstract
In this work, Pb thin films were electrodeposited from an electrolyte containing Pb+2 ions. In order to obtain an optimum electrochemical condition and deposition voltage, cyclic voltammetery was performed on the electrochemical cell. The thickness of the Pb films was measured using Dektak3 instrument, and a good agreement was achieved between the calculated and the real thickness. Structural characterization of Pb was performed using XRD and SEM techniques. The sheet resistance was measured at different film thicknesses using four- point probe in van der Pauw geometry.
